DISCLAIMER:

These presets provide an amazing base for creating a beautiful, cohesive aesthetic,  but, since every photo is lit & composed differently these presets will vary depending on the photo. Have no fear! A little tweaking goes a long way. Upon download, you will receive a PDF with some of my most common tweaks for bringing out the best in these presets and all of your photos.

Not for use on mobile devices.

Non-refundable.

BASIC 1: BALANCED EXPOSURE

Ideal for images with a relatively balanced exposure and lighting conditions. These are images with no drastically lighter or darker sections, but which are pretty evenly lit throughout.

BASIC 2: EXTRA BRIGHT FIX

Ideal for images that are bordering on overexposed, where some details may be washed out and the overall image is just too bright. I rarely wind up with images that are too bright because I shoot underexposed, but should you encounter this scenario, this preset should help!

BASIC 3: EXTRA DARK FIX

Ideal especially for images taken at high noon in the shade, where the sky and details are very dark and a lot of extra brightness is needed. This is my preferred way to shoot this type of scene because you retain a lot more detail in shadows than in highlights.

BASIC 4: BACKLIT FIX

Ideal for images where the sun is directly behind the subject, creating a harsh backlight and leaving the subject in darkness. This is a great way to photograph a subject on any sunny day so that there won’t be any harsh shadows obscuring the person’s face or body.

BASIC 5: SUNSET/SUNRISE

Ideal for images taken at sunset (or sunrise), which are slightly too dark to maintain the tones of the sky, but have a more warm tone and sideways direction of light.
